Hi all,

We are pleased to advise you of the details for our u14 & u17 Flag Tournament that we are hosting on Saturday 30th April 2022 and look forward to seeing you all there.

Date: Saturday 30th April 2022 - Kick off 12pm U17 flag)

Venue: Gang Warily Leisure Centre, Newlands Road, Fawley, Southampton SO45 1GA

The venue will be open from 9:30am and there is ample parking available. Please park in the overflow car park so as not to use the spaces for the daily users of the Leisure Centre. To access the overflow car park go into the main car park and drive all the way down to the far end and go through the gate into the overflow car park.

Facilities: There are outdoor toilets available for use in the leisure centre. Although we do have access to a changing room, please arrive dressed and ready to play as much as possible as the changing room is not monitored or locked and is shared.

Field: 3 x grass flag fields with lined markings & end zone pylons and safety cones

Footballs: Teams are responsible for bringing their own game & practice footballs (TDY/TDJ). The offensive team will provide their own ball during the game.

Officials: We have requested official referee’s from BAFRA but as yet have had no response so we anticipate that all games will be self-officiating. We do have and are still seeking experienced volunteers to come along and assist with the officiating and will keep you informed, however there may be a need for teams to provide an official for some of the games.

First Aid: All teams will be responsible for their own first aid.

Catering: There will be a burger van and ice cream van on-site for the day. This has been arranged and provided by the Leisure Centre

Uniforms: Please ensure all uniforms meet the BAFA standards i.e. no pockets etc and flag belts are conflicting colours to the uniforms.

South Coast Spitfires - Blue jerseys and shorts (Home), we also have Red away jerseys for the u14 when our 2 teams play each other
Solent RedStorm - Red jerseys, black shorts
Berkshire Renegades - Red jerseys, black shorts
London Blitz - White jerseys, blue shorts

Where there is a clash of colours i.e. Solent RedStorm v Berkshire Renegades, alternate jerseys or bibs must be worn by one of the teams.
